When I initially read about this assignment in Module 5, I was nervous because I didn’t believe I would be creative enough to create something I would enjoy; however, I surprised myself! It was challenging to get started, though once I did, it was incredibly fun. It was as if I was on a scavenger hunt and I had no boundaries, which provided a nice break from school and work. I’m sure I looked weird walking around town trying to find letters, but it was worth it in the end. (I got several interesting looks from classmates and strangers in public, haha.)
Also, I was worried my pictures would be blurry because I’m not a photographer by trade, but I believe they turned out good! Or at least, much better than I anticipated. In addition, using the platform Prezi was completely new to me and, at first, I didn’t like it. Once I became more familiar with it by browsing templates and learning how to add, delete, and generally alter my presentation, my opinion of it changed entirely. I will definitely use it for future projects for school!
Overall, I really enjoyed this project and would definitely do it all over again due to how greatly I impressed myself in each aspect: from taking pictures to editing my Prezi, I found it to be extremely fun and rewarding.

Well done on the images, Allyson – the variety was great, the images were clear and with good lighting – they turned out well. I think my favorites are the railroad tracks and the elephant trunk (although I liked them all) – they are strong representations of the letters you “saw” in them. I like the Prezi theme you chose – it’s fun and helps me to be able to focus on only two images as a time. I enjoyed your backstories Allyson – so glad you were able to include images t hat held a lot of meaning. Very nicely done, Allyson.
