Assignment 14.1

The process for creating my door scene was extremely fun, even though my actor and I received interesting looks in the hallway during filming. The star actor is one of my best friends Jon, which only made it all the more fun. There were several outtakes due to how hard we both laughed at his manic expressions, but I feel I still captured fear. Editing the film was also enjoyable and I did not run into any issues other than trying not to laugh while I reviewed the footage.

The two people I showed the film to were my mom and my friend Kate. My mom thought the clip with audio was better because she felt that the noise conveyed the terror Jon was trying to communicate, which Kate agreed with. Kate also found it funny due to her also knowing Jon very well; that, and she said that the editing was very clean. She especially enjoyed my font choices and colors for the title and end screens. Overall, I would say this assignment was a success and one of the funnest to film. 🙂
